Greetings WHS Community!
Please let me introduce you to our Booster Program! Since 1979 our goal has been to provide ALL our WHS student athletes and coaches monetary support when it comes to purchasing uniforms, transportation to games, keeping the fields/pool/ & courts in tip top shape, scholarships and much, much more!WHSAB is a non-profit 501(c)(3) comprised of many parent volunteers. ALL DONATIONS are tax deductible!!!As a member of our WHS community there are many ways you can support our amazing kids!BOOSTER MEMBERSHIP
Boosters meet once per month. You can be as active in membership as you want. We know your time is valuable. We are always looking for input on how we can help our teams!Please join our program by making a yearly one-time donation of your monetary choice. Our membership season follows the school year. We are currently seeking members for the current school year. Our goal each year is to present (6) $500 scholarships to our exceptional senior student athletes at an awards ceremony that occurs just prior to graduation. Consider sponsoring an entire scholarship ($500), or pair up with other members of our great community to co-sponsor. Donations of ANY amount are GREATLY appreciated!In appreciation of your donation, we will offer you or your company acknowledgment on our social media pages by displaying your name/company logo/graphics after the scholarships have been awarded. Your name and or company will be listed on the recipient’s certificate and acknowledged at the ceremony.The ceremony typically occurs a week or so prior to graduation. Our stadium is host to many great sporting events in the Spring and Fall seasons. With hundreds of local fans in attendance, you will have the opportunity to advertise your business while supporting our programs! We ask that you provide us with your own 4ft by 6ft banner (approval from WHSAB is required beforehand) & a yearly $250 donation. In return we will hang the banner in our stadium ALL spring and fall season. Our spring sports are scheduled to begin mid-March and fall sports run until mid-November. The sooner you can commit- the longer you will be seen! Questions on how to get your banner hung? We strive to be open for ALL home sporting events- serving pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, candy, sodas and more!There are many ways you can help! OUR MOST URGENT NEED IS MONETARY- AS THE CONCESSION STAND IS AGING AND NEEDS STRUCTURAL AND EQUIPMENT UPDATES!!$$$ CASH OR CHECK DONATIONS of any amount will fund the upkeep of the stand and food purchases. OR consider donating a SAMS CLUB, COSTCO, or WALMART gift card that will be used to purchase the goods sold, cups, paper plates, etc.ALL concession sales go the WHSAB program to include ALL sports. Don’t have the cash to donate or sponsor?? Do you have a business that can donate an item or service to auction off at one of our fundraising events?? We will accept all appropriate offers! Examples are gift cards, one free oil change, one free meal, one mani-pedi- ANYTHING you can offer is greatly appreciated! Your business will be recognized accordingly on all our media platforms and at events.We are also looking for vendors to provide landscaping and power washing services in our stadium. In exchange for your time and service, your company will be recognized online and at all our appropriate events (you provide your company banner, and we will hang it in the stadium).Questions on how you can help?
